$2495 is US Retail on this watch. It sells used for $1600 US.

See ebay post:

I cannot let it go for less than $1800. Ohh yeah, I just paid $150 in March for full service which comes with a 1 year warranty.

In case anyone is interested, my buddy has an Omega Broad Arrow Speedmaster - brand new in box - that he won and wants to sell. It retails for $6800 in Toronto and I guess he will let it go for $3K. Lemme know.

That is an excellent price if in fact the watch includes a serial number.

Because they are selling below retail, I suspect that they are not an authorized distributor and the watch's serial number has been removed. If the watch has a serial number..go for it! Great deal.

Most places sell below retail... there's a jeweller downtown that sells all Omega watches for 25% off retail. Noone sells at retail.

Only LA Swiss charges retail , i don't know how anyone buys anything from them.
Just wondering as you never mentioned it which size?
Box, receipt?
Average price on ebay is 1000 - 1500 for a titanium version.normal SS are 600-1000.

Nice watch too bad it isn't the Blue marine face or the 007 edition.

His price is very fair if its the men's size one..the problem is the Seamaster is a complete flop for Omega, their yearly sales for this model is %60 below estimate from my sources, the Speedmaster out sells this one 15 to 1.Its still a very good watch though...medium selling price with papers is between $1800-2300cdn,,,I've seen go on the low end of $1500cdn in the GTA,Helga at La Swiss normally gives 30 points off on the Seamaster which is a good indication this model is not selling too well....by the way a black face Daytona is selling for $10000cdn and up,if you can find one...

This is the 39.3 mm and the selling price I've seen for these with papers I've seen have been around $1500. The only Omegas I've seen in the 1800-2300 range have been Speedmasters.

If anyone has any leads on a Speedmaster let me know.

NickP,

As I said above, my buddy has an Omega Broad Arrow Speedmaster - brand new in box - that he won and wants to sell. It retails for $6800 in Toronto and I guess he will let it go for $3K. If you want a SpeedMaster...this watch is perfect! I am told that the Broad Arrow is the premier Omega.

BTW, my watch is men's full size with box papers etc. I did lose the green credit card that came with the watch when my wallet was stolen...no big deal.

Nothing says about man's class like his watch.
Not his house, car or bank account balance.

Thats why a lot of men spend thousands on watch.

I think I'll just buy my 'low end' Tissot, I already spend thousands on my car, but at least it gives me shelter (sorta).

Seamaster..nah...go for the moonwatch,Speedmasters appreciates in value,Seamasters dont...Those Schumachers holds it value better than the Seamasters..dont get me wrong the time piece is still very good but its market target is not there, why pay $$$ for a Seamaster while you can pay abit more and get a classic Speedmaster....

most Auth. Omega dealers give 30% off list as you look at the watch. with some bargaining you could go less.

was at european jewelers at the mall, last week, and could easily get a speedmaster at $2860can tax in.
i didn't show much interest in purchasing that day.

rolex dealers, on the other hand, don't move at all on their SS models, maybe 5-10% on the TT, and quite a bit better on their 18K.

i went to european jewerlers in sq1 to look at watches

yea, you can get a discount at most places no problem

considering that there is a HUGE markup on these watches

at la swiss at SQ1 there is a TT daytona black face for $15,500can.

try find a SS white face daytona, they 're around $12,000US. list on those is $6,550us. dealers have huge waiting lists, as they are not allowed to sell over/under retail list. you have to be a very good customer, for a dealer to sell you one.

anyways, GWD,

what colour face is the speedmaster?
