There has been a lot of threads oabout tires sizes and what you can and cant put on. Well to day i fit my 17 in 225 45's on the rear of my car and they fit like a dream. I have a homemade drop of 2.5 inches all the way around, and they fit on with no rubbing. I am gonna put on a 1/8th spacer just for shits and giggles. But i was told by many ppl that they would not fit. Man it looks amazing. From the back it looks mean and from the side it has an awsome rake to it. Very happy.*th-up*

OK just curious what is this homemade drop of 2.5 inches you are talking about. Did you cut your OEM springs?

Cool for the 225, I am looking to do that too, but the 45 are too big, your wheel diam. will be close to 25" (stock is 24") your speedo will be off and your torque at the wheels might change.

Shouldn't you be at 225/40 ?? (225x0.4=3.54 inx2= 7"+17"=24")

Not really, my car performs like a dream, chopping the springs makes them stiffer not looser
