View Full Version : Need Wheel Spacer Specs Pleeeez Help

:confused: HEY GUYS,
I JUST BOUGHT SOME 18" MILLE MIGLIA
IMPERA THEY ARE 18X8 W/245-40R18 IN FRONT AND 18X9 W/
265-35R18 IN REAR I KNOW THEY HAVE A 37MM CENTER BORE
BUT HOW MANY MM's THICK SHOULD THE SPACERS BE FRONT AND REAR. I FOUND SOME FROM H&R THAT I CONSIDERING BUT I AM NOT SURE HOW THICK I SHOULD GO WITH OUT ANY RUBBING.

You have to post the offset too.

I AM NOT SURE OF THE OFFSET I BOUGHT THEM FROM A FRIEND THAT HAD THEM ON A 97 M3
I'M TRYING TO FIT THEM ON MY 97 528I

The centrebore isn't the same between E39's and any other BMW. Maybe there's an adapting spacer? I don't recall one though.

i can cut the center bore with my drill press. i did the rear rims and they mount up but they rub against the inside wheel well
and don't sit right

is that 17mm both front and rear?

oh wait, I read it wrong, I thought u said 37mm et, is center bore the same as offset?

In that case, E39 offset is approx 20mm. I don't know what the rear is, gonna have to ask E39 guys.
