Hi David,can you tell me where did you get that heat insulation(tape wraped around your exhaust piping)?Is it fire proof(how many degres C can it take,and what material is it made from)?Thank you in advance.

Hey i was jus gonna ask that exact questions as raffa asked.

So i would liek to know too.....what kinda material is it? Can you pick it up at like a faberic store? and make ur own? i doubt they'd have that material thou

this wrapping , you can buy it at your local speed shop , its made exacly for that. its good for headers, turbo manifold, or other source of high tempeture about 1500 F .my i found it for a good price about 80 $ CAN

looking good...nice bov...nice to see that performance(wraping tubing)is more important than looks...my buddy has a turbo civic,when he lifts the hood,your eyes almost melt......

Header wrap = bad! Spend the extra $ and get it ceramic coated! Header wrap traps the heat in the pipe when the car is turned off and causes moisture to build up and promotes rusting from the inside out.

Any aftermarket header manufactuer will not warranty a header if you have used header wrap. They can tell by the rust starting from the inside.

I second what M50 said, header wrap bad voodoo... Ceramic that!
