Really first time I wanted DTM tips, but after I saw some bimmers with dtm tips, I changed my mind to stock looking.

My vote is for the ovals as well.

The biggest problem with DTM tips is that some idiot has put them on every VW, with or without an upgraded exhaust.

Be different. I had a great exhaust on my M540i with dual ovals on it; looked really sharp.

I have dtm tips, and i like them alright, but i am now really fond of a dual tipped chrome exhaust with rolled lips, slightly larger than stock. I think it looks sooo nice

First I'd say DTM tips, but only the real smooth upswept ones.... not the cheezy ones with the welded elbow. I looked high and low for the smooth ones and finally found them in Germany were I got them direct. Supersprint uses them on their mufflers, but there's no way I'm putting that crap on my car. If you can't get them smooth, I'd say go with the ovals. The DTM's also look better if you have a rear valance and pushed in bumpers.
