My brother is selling his '95 Dakar Yellow M3. He bought it in California while he was living there and shipped it back to Toronto when he moved back here. He just bought a new '04 M3 and can't keep them both. He's asking $20,000 CDN

the car has:

114,000 miles
Dinan Cold Air Intake
OBD I
Oz Supperlegra 17" Rims w/ Yokohoma AVS

he put an add in the autotrader this week. but i though i might as well post it here for him too. Give him a call if you interested.

Don't worry man, i know a LOT of people are kickin themselves right now for the price they spent on their car, but thats what patience does, wish i had some!!

Anyways, this car looks clean, and the price is good, the only trouble i think it would have to sell is the color, but its GORGEOUS still!

why is it hard to sell a Dakar Yellow M3. that's the color that the M3 is meant to be :) . i'll post some pics up of my bro's new '04 M3 that is in dakar yellow, and then tell me it isn't sick. i just need to get my digi-cam back.

They MAKE a 04 M3 in DAKAR?!
DAMN, i dunno, sorry bout that post, just IMO yellow is not most peoples number one choice for a car, but the pheonix gold is awesome!

Guys, BMW Individual! You can get M3's in any colour on the rainbow.

I want the old one though. I wouldn't be able to insure it though.

um y isnt the steering wheel an ///M wheel?

its a '95 US spec. they changed the design of the steering wheel in 96/97 i believe.

It is an M steering wheel, look closely at the stitching, it's red, blue and violet.

That is such a deal. I was just looking at those other M3 in auto trader 20G and above and your bro's M3 is definitely the best deal. I wish I'll win the lotto tonight and I'll call him tomorrow:)

And you fail to realize that is exactly average for a 9 year old car.

the engine is in excellent condition. my bro takes care of the car. he just had Inspection II done in like september. and like Mystikal said the mileage is average for an 8 or 9 year old car.

Very nice!! I wish I had the insurance starightened and would jump on it in a heartbeat(although bankrupt)

I was wondering if e46 steering wheels would fit on e36 like this?

Would bea great upgrade for $600 cdn

the only thing i'd do to the steering wheel is maybe put a colour white/blue BMW roundel sticker on it. cause the steering wheel feels great when you drive it nice and comfortable.

You need the round airbag too. And that's $$$.

true... also the buttons on the wheel won't work without a lot of splicing wires. I've seen a guy with it on his e36... he bought it for $250 ... a couple months later the seller demanded more for it. (after he learned how much it's really worth)...

wish I had that deal! :/

the price is good. I wouldn't worry too much about the colour since Dakar looks sick on the E36 and a true bimmer head should take that off your hands very soon*th-up*
