It's a 302, not a 5.0 (Litres dictates injected), and it runs AC still, so I can't imagine it's a beast powerplant, 302s tend to be good for 275ish HP with a fairly light build... It's probably also sucking in pure hot air, a rearfacing scoop isn't exactly prime for that kind of an intake, the windshield has too much rake for the air to bounce off and come back down...

I'd say somewhere around 250ish at the wheels. Power up to 5500rpm... Should pick up dramatically at 1800rpm... I'm just guessing though, considering I've seen everything from a 180hp 302 to a 550hp NA 302...

Er, I take that back, no idea what it makes, it has aftermarket heads, and is cammed... Funny that it runs OEM pistons though?

If I knew the valve sizes I could give you a rough idea, need cam specs too...

nice except for the hood.......blows the sleeper thing....
wouldn't it be called a 350i then?
i understand why he went with the ford...chevy oil pans would't clear the subrame,and there taller...
