LP's White E30

Hi everybody

I have a white E30 with 4 doors and I'm going to tune it.
I have the idea of making a replica of the e30 m3 DTM with the motorsport stripes and make it into a Race Car.

Can Somebody help me or give me some advice

Thx
I'm A new member and i think maxbimmer rules big time

Welcome. I advise you to go to a scrapyard and find a scrap E30 M3. You could get the front wings with the wide arches but the back ones would be difficult because you have four doors and the M3 has 2. You could either get the rear door welded up or have a custom wide arch fitted so that you can still have four doors. The trunk is also different in that it is a completely different style and I don't know what to suggest for that. You could make the M3 spoiler fit the standard trunk. The Bumpers should fit on with minor adjustment and I've heard that if you heat them you can get them to fit. On the other hand you can but wide arch M3 replica bodykits but I don't know if you could fit them on a four door. Hope this helps.

Yes Thank you for your advise. but i don't want to spend much money on it. but i hope to make a really good car of it but it 'll take a while. How about the engine it's a 1.8 l engine
but a really good one it starts very good
even when its freezing and when there's snow on top of it, it still rides sweet and it makes a very loud noize

But what about wheels ? does anyone have advise fr wheels
and the interior

For the engine you could do lots of things which include induction kit, Superchip, Performance exhaust, ports polished. I would think that replacing standard things for new things would make it run better. As for wheels I personally prefer Alpinas or the standard BBS 15" ones. I think that you are better putting on wheels like these because they look better. If you wanted a bodykit that was cheap go for a replica M-tec. If you want to see a replica m tec go to the post "my E30 project" and you will see mine. It looks good.

For your interior you could pick up some second hand Recaro seats out of another E30. They are really nice seats and you might find a leather set. If you want some inspiration go to www.e30.de

I have never heard of raceland but I expect that someone here has. You could go for an Mtec steering wheel or something like a MOMO or Sparco. As for pedals AC Schnitzer make nice ones but they are expensive so you could get replica ones.

I hate to burst your bubble, but if you want your car to look like that, expect to pay $5-10 grand.

If you want it to actually perform anywhere close to what it looks like, expect to pay something like $17 grand and up.

What year is your car?

Explain how making it look like a factory racer will set him back 5-10?

Well the body and paint alone will run you like 5 g's minimum to do an M3 conversion, and those BBS wheels, theres another 3 g's for rims n tires
