I am trying to order a Super Turbo Muffler by Dynomax from the states but don't know the inlet size of the muffler.

Can anyone help me? Possible choices were 1 3/4, 2 1/2, 2 1/4, 2 1/8, 2 3/4, 2 and 3 inches...

And has anyone used this muffler? if so, any comments?

Thanks.

2 1/4" on 318i/is :)

I'm actually using the Super Turbo and at idle there is a slight burble to the sound.
Mine has a harsh buzz(almost like a bike) when I gun it, but I assume its because my resonator was removed...

I know someone who had the Super turbo on his 318is and here's the review he wrote on it:

So how does it sound? Great! The sound is remarkably subdued: it's only marginally louder than stock, and there's a very slight "burble" to the idle. Under acceleration there is a nice deep growl as opposed to the raspy sound of some sustems. There is no trace of the harsh buzz or highway drone that I've heard on so many aftermarket systems. This is exactly the sound I was hoping for. I was afraid that the exhaust note would be too loud and overpowering, but it turns out I needn't have worried. If anything, it could stand to be slightly louder.
