7.5 liters...
and it's never too late to use synthetic,,just make sure you use it from now on...dont switch back and forth...
10W30 would be ideal for that milage

If you start to use synthetic oil, don't use it more then 2000km tops the first time. There are detergents in the syn oil that will wash away a lot of the residue in your engine, and that residue with mostly get caught in the filter, but the rest will just circulate around the engine until the next change.

After the first change then you can go to 5000km or whatever.

thanks for the info man *th-up* Thinair would you say that i would definitely see some benifits by investing into synthic oil over regular motor oil?

thanks

I use Mobil 1 synthetic ever since I installed my supercharger. It made everything just a little bit quieter which was nice, and the oil doesn't get as hot either.

Amsoil. The best oil available to non-sponsored consumers, period.

HAi!
Does here anyone know anything about oil??? I don`t think so!!!
A 0W-30 this oil you can ride where the penguins live!!! If you would have a High Speed Trip with this oil and do a pause this oil would be so thin that you wouldn`t have enough oil pressure!!! 30 is made for Temperatures till 30< degrees. If you want to ride a real good Oil then use Motul!!! With Esther Technologie!!! 10W 50 or 15W 60 and in wintertime use a 0w 40.

I second Amsoil products. Expensive - but the best oil out there. Plus they have an engine cleaner liquid to prep the engine before using Amsoil.

Even better - the oil change intervals are 24,000miles.. yep.. MILES or 1 year.

What? 24000miles? In Germany we have to Change all 10000 kilometers! At my cars I change all 5000km

Goto mobil.com , there you can read the info about the myths of synthetic oil. You can change to synthetic oil whenever you want then switch back to dino oil if you wish. Read the info on the manufactures website, better to get the correct info from the source.
