Hey, I have a 1987 325e E30..
I was eyeing these 17" Mille Miglia Action Sports that I saw on tirerack.com for $219 each I would guess. The recommended tire size is 205/45-17.. They show my tire size as 195/65-14.

Short and simple... My question is: Will they (the wheels) fit on my car?

Also does anyone have some good online places to get some wheels, that may be cheaper than tirerack? Or do you know of any other nicer looking wheels that would actually fit on my car?

Thanks.

I was eyeing those wheels a little while ago.. in fact I was ready to buy them! $1350 for 4 rims no tires. But I fell out because they olny come in 35mm offset. on your or my car that would make the wheels sit deep in the wheel wells. The E30 needs a 18-25 mm offset for a proper look and handling. You CAN buy spacers but with a 10 mm spacer you need longer bolts and it just get weak and exspensive ($60 each for bbs spacers)

My advice is to keep looking for the right offset. Check out www.team-dynamics.com I ordered a set of Motorsports in hyper silver (close to the new factory bmw rims and the action sport finish, looks great on silver bmw's) let me know if you like any of them I can get a price for you at discout from Wheel and tire zone. If you hurry you can catch the boat, it's 5 weeks delivery from england. the 17's are around $1600 for 4 rims.

Hope this helps

Try www.1010tires.com which is located in Vancouver = cheaper shipping + No duties + No GST! Pretty good prices too.

My dad just got new tires-- 195/65-14 :(
bye 17 inch wheels..

I was looking through the tire rack and came across some nice Borbet wheels under $100. I specifically liked the Type B, which is $75, and the Type E, which is also $75. Anyways, has anyone heard any good or bad things about this type of wheel?

Hmm, now that I look at it, the damn wheels have a 5 lug pattern! Oh well...
