To start off, yes, I now have an integra, but would like your comments as this is a somewhat general question...

I have a secondary O2 sensor in the cat on my Integra. If I replace the cat with a midpipe and install the o2 sensor in the pipe, will it

a) ruin the o2 sensor or make it wear faster?
and
b)make the check engine light go on regardless?
c)will a high flow header destroy the o2 sensor faster too?

I'm assuming I should keep the o2 sensor on.

You'll probably get a check engine light, even if you install it in the pipe.

The first one reads the O2 levels before the exhaust air get 'cleaned up' by the catalytic converter. The second one reads how well the cat cleans the exhaust air. They'll both read the same now and the car will think your catalytic is messed up.

You should look into an O2 sensor simulator. It'll fix this problem for you.

so is there really a point to keep the o2 sensor in there other than trying to see if the light doesn't go on? I mean, will yanking it cause drivability or fuel economy differences?

well, I think whether you use it or not, i think it's going to give you drivability issues/CEL/fuel consumption issues. The ECU might try to counter act what the second O2 sensor is reading by making your car run richer or leaner then it would need to.
