is there a way to get the fault code, besides code readers (bav-auto). I've got a '98 328 iS, so it's OBDII, the accelerator test does not work. my "check engine" light came on while driving home from the wasaga cruise.

Another place to get a quick scan is at Europa Motors, north of Woodbine/7 on Woodbine, west side beside the Home Hardware. (905) 415-2269, ask for Alex. Just tell 'em Timo sent ya. I've had plenty of my work done there.
