Ok I just replaced my window motor on my car a month ago. It stopped halfway. Guess what, it did the same thing with a brand new motor.
Please suggest your ideas replace it again or use a match!*uzi*
Does anyone know if it could be another problem? Like maybe too much electricity going to the motor? These problems leave no room for mods!

Check the comfort relay. It's this relay that sits underneath the panel that goes right over your knees. Under that pannel is a metal plate with 3 10mm nuts that need to be removed. Under that you see a harness that has two relays in it, one is brown the other is blue. The blue one is the comfort relay, it has something to do with the sunroof and could effect your windows too. After years of use and heat sometime those relays heat up too much and some of the solder points may be melted away. A lot of people just take apart the relay and and then re-solder a few points and slap it back in and them Bam you got sunroof power. I on ther hand just ended up buying a new one from BMW for about $25. I did this last nite after a year no working sunroof. Worked like a charm. *th-up*
Good luckHere's a good write up (http://members.roadfly.com/petah/e36comfortrelay.htm)
