We had a great time!*th-up* It was really cold though, so we couldn't have our barbeque...but went to a restaurant instead.

We got split up into 2 groups on the way there but eventually found each other!:D

The people at Wasaga were staring at us...don't think they've ever seen this many BMW's (especially all together)!!

It was a great turn out, around 35 cars. The next meet should be bigger and better (more organization and hopefully better weather)!*th-up*

Yeah the ride back was kinda fun- nuthin like having a huge 7 series looming in the rear view mirror:eek:

I gotta get a faster car though. Even with the Dinan chip the car seemed to slow at 215KM, so now I am wondering if the top speed limiter was removed or if the boys at Dinan didn't program it in. And MACIEK was glued to my butt - I couldn't shake him, winder if all that extra ballast in my car had anything to do with that

None the less the only real scary thing was with Rob's M3 when that Camry decided he should be in the fast lane too, with the X5 right behind him:eek: I saw Rob's car shudder or swerve a bit - scary.........Lucky that was the 4.6 and not the 3.0 chasing you Rob or you'd have a X5 for a rear trunk ornament.

All in all that was fun but quite dangerous, in the sense we may know what we are doing -but all the other blokes like the Camry dude and the idiot in the Focus didn't. *no-no* That could have caused a mishap- luckily it didn't, we should all be responsible and careful when we drive - and I geuss I am a hypocrite for writing this but hey its true Till the next cruise. *wave* *wave*

The cruise was good while it lasted (for me).... why were we holding up traffic doing 80km/h???? Seemed like no one knew where they were going! Next time maybe our fearless "leader" Rob can stick together with a cruise he seemed to have organised.

The funniest thing was when we were stopped on the side of the 400 by Innisfil trying to figure out what the F*CK was going on and were Rob took off to..... a Dodge Cirrus on the SB lanes did a complete 720degree spin (no joke, just a lot of smoke) because of the BMW distraction we were causing.... He didn't hit a thing, just continued along.*th-up*

Rob....

Is that your lame-ass excuse? Why didn't you stop then on the side of the road and wait for the other 80% of the people? DUH! The collector lanes all the way to Langstaff were empty to stop and wait genius. Who cares.... at least everything went alright I guess. Now you'll know for next time.

P.S. Sorry, I'm not your good friend.

There is bound to be some problems here and there when you gather a large group of people/cars together.

At least I made the effort to try and organise soemthing. Most people don't want the hassle of planning/organizing.....

Give credit where it is due.

1 more thing, this is the last cruise/meet I will be organizing...
I feel it is the job of the people who run/moderate the site to organize maxbimmer events. just my $0.02

Rob, Moderators are here to basically take care of the forum, and to keep an eye out on how things are going. If there are some posts that may offend people, They are here to delete or alter them. Every member including you are able to organize your own unoffical maxbimmer meet. If you feel that it is too much work for yourself to organize one...then DON"T. I don't think anyone will start crying if you dont orgainize anymore. There will be plently of others where you can sit back and relax Rob...Don't worry.

The lady I arranged to be there for the BBQ called me on the actual cruise and let me know that "something came up". I still came through Rob by buying everyone Beer and Pizza out of our own money... then get in shit by the park ranger for open alcohol.

Nice try.

Robert! Remember what I said about thinking before you post? This is a prime example on how you just seem to step in to shiet. BTW Randy is not the only one organizing Bimmercruize. If you are going to hack it then you must realize that Kevin and myself had alot to do with it. I think I should make a poll on how much of a whiner you are but I bet it would be deleted pretty quick.

PS - Don't bother to tell me to chill. I have had enough. *no-no*

Well, I thought the cruise was pretty fun, even though it was kinda sketchy at times:rolleyes:

But it was amazing driving with like 30 other BMW's. By the next time I think I will have one of my own.

My only real suggestion is that I think that at least 3 people in the cruise should have radios to keep everyone together (one in front, one in the middle, and one at the back).

BTW, I have a few pictures laying around waiting to be scanned from the cruise, i'll try to scan in a few of them once I get home from work. Some came out pretty good, but some of the early 400 sunroof pics are blurry (I had the f-stop and shutter speeds set wrong).

I thought the meet was great, just cold.

Maybe better organization next time like radios and trying to keep the group closer together.

we lost Brown Guy for the longest time until later in the day.

I rushed to finish the 6 in time, the front end still needs more work (built it from scratch) And the pipes coming off the intercooler could use a respray.
My buddy's 2800cs with the m30 3.5L motor dropped in ran really good and he is eager to join maxbimmer.

Hey all,

I wish I could have joined ya. It looked like a great cruise despite the weather. I just got back from Miami last night. I was there for the weekend so that's why I did not come to the meet. I am hoping that the Niagara cruise will be a go! I will come to that for sure!

This MaXbimmer bunch looks like a good group and I would like to get to know you all more.

That was a great cruize. I had a lot of fun cruizin' the strip, everyone was turning around and looking at the maxbimmer pack. The ride back on the 400 from Barrie to Toronto was awesome, as soon as we left the restaurant and got back on the highway everyone gunned it, we were all doing 160 - 180 most of the way back.

Can't wait for the next meet/cruize and we definetely should do everything possible to stick together 'cause that'll be sweet to have 30 - 35 bimmers in a row entering Niagara Falls.

Bliss, where's that show you were talking about on June 8th or 9th, I'd like to come and check it out..........

I know Your car is unique and quick but I don't
remember You leaving any E36 or E46 behind. The
only time You left cars behind was when You made a wrong turn and went to Orillia instead. You know
that I asked You to race me and You never want
to. How many times was I glued to Your bumper
and I had to let off the pedal so I don't hit You.
And don't tell me You weren't giving it because
Your car was smoking like crazy. You do have a
quick car liike I said but it is not as fast as
You say it is. I had more trouble with Mogie's car
than Yours.

Hey!

I was the odd-ball, I was the guy in the Yellow Chevy. I had a blast trying to keep up with all the 328s and bigger cars - almost made me wish I had a BMW (almost). I had fun driving around somewhere (lost) with most of a tank of gas. I did learn, never trust a 745i with a navigation system to know where he is going.

RobM3 - thanks man, I had fun. Don't sweat these guys, I know my driving wasn't perfect (well, my passing was on par)

All the other guys: thanks for not looking down on me (or atleast to my face) for not having a BMW.

Hey guys chill out
the group ended up getting split up a number of times, it was bound to happen with all that traffic. Regardless i had lots of fun, and am already planning another trip up there for the summer time. (i wanna get my hands on some of those girls up there! :D )

My already thinning rotors warped mildly and glazed when i did a few panic stops on the way up, so i felt it was probably safer to drive home when everyone decided to goto the bar later on that day. New brakes are on the way in a couple weeks thankfully =)

Next time i attend a meet i'll wash and wax my car, the thing was filthy that saturday =)

I still remember the look on all those honda boys' faces and alot of the girls' faces when they saw our lineup of bmws along the strip =) I had lots of people tell me that they couldn't believe we had so many bmws up driving together, they thought it was ''unreal'' as one girl put it =)

The 745i got lots of attention as well =), a natural attraction for the ladies =)

I'm like "just crusin' around"

I'm ready for Wasaga round 2, I'm thinking we should have another cruize up to Wasaga say next weekend (Weekend of June 30th), 'cause the one to Niagara Falls is too far away, and maybe we'll get to see some ladies on the beach this time, and with less traffic than on a long weekend we should all be able to stick toghether, NO PROBLEM.
