Is there any way to adjust the throttle sensitivity on an e30? I know the newer bimmers have this as an option with just the press of a button, but not on the e30...so I was wondering if there was any ways to do this manually. The reason I ask is that mine is really stiff, very rarely it softens up for a drive or 2 (say out of 30) and I love it when its just a bit more sensitive.

Is there any manual way to adjust it?

might be adjustable through spring swap on throttle body or rear of accelerator pedal.

you could try and tune the engine to be more responsive, or maybe your throttle cable is a little loose...try tightning it up, and make sure that the cable isn't getting rusted, throw a little WD-40 on there under the rubber sleeve.*th-up*

You just change your butterfly spring and throttle cable, If you want a really touchy throttle, I've got a friend who I just swapped his butterfly spring, it was a REALLY low spring rate spring. Touch the gas and the throttle opens fast.
