I'm looking to pick up a 1997/8 BMW 540i sport for the spring time. I'm keeping the body stock (for now), putting a cold air intake, K&N filter, and cat back exaust (Maybe Randy could hook me up?).
Now what do you suggest for wheels?

oh, dont let Randy see this thread...he'll just post up a huge pole for you and ask for everyones attention..lol j/k Anyways...yeah i wouldnt get hamann, hamann sucks;) hehe. For a five series it deserves something huge. ACS are good, but i think it would have to be the type 2. or some big hartge classics. and BBS RW2.

go look at the Wheels Classified section of today's (December 9th) Toronto Star. Go down to the Prestige Cars, and you'll find a 1997 540i, black on black, but i don't know if it's sport or not.

I once saw 17" M Roadster/Coupe rims on the 5 series before (9" deep dish all around). Although it was on a 1992 5 series, it looked really good. I'm trying to find that picture at home... if I do, I'll post it.
