This is a great muffler. I have the same one on my E36 and it sounds really good. I also know Tom and he is a good guy to deal with.
*bump for a good deal and seller*

Love my magnaflow, good quality muffler!
02-25-2004, 03:02 PM
Thanks Razkal 320i... yes, these are really nice quality.
I have two (<b>2</b>) of these units available!!!
02-25-2004, 04:16 PM
will this fit/work with a 97' 328is?
02-25-2004, 04:16 PM
also, is it bolt on (plug and play) ?
02-25-2004, 05:56 PM
2.25" Inlet, 3" Diam. Tips
Double Wall, Straight Cut
7" Tip Length
14" Muffler Body Length
These are the technical descriptions as per magnaflow's website.
You will need to have the mufflershop weld the exhaust onto your existing pipe since it's not a cat back exhaust. So yes, it can be made to fit on a 328is without much effort.
I have two of these, so if someone is interested in doing a dual exhaust setup these are the mufflers to use! They are excellant quality and inexpensive compared to others (eg. remus, ss, etc....)
02-25-2004, 05:57 PM
2 in 2 out?
02-25-2004, 06:04 PM
Single inlet... dual outlet.
02-25-2004, 06:27 PM
Why are you selling? I have a friend who is interested and could pick it up..
[EDIT] Will this fit a 323is. It seems that 323's must have a curved muffler in order to fit. Is thisthe case with these exhausts?
02-25-2004, 06:43 PM
M3_Shadow, I've decided to get a different exhaust... this one is still in oroginal packaging. I went with eisenmann quad tipped. Otherwise I'd have to modify the battery compartment and I'm not too keen on cutting that...
02-25-2004, 06:46 PM
How about the fitment on a 323is? Would you know anything about that?
02-25-2004, 06:51 PM
Yeah it works on a 323is but you have to use a Y-Pipe.
02-25-2004, 06:55 PM
Thanks for the help BMW_M52_M20. Where did you get the Y-pipe to fit yours?
02-25-2004, 06:59 PM
Any mufflershop that does the installation will have those pipes... they are very common.
02-25-2004, 07:03 PM
Really? E36 323's had dual piping? Strange, they went back to single on the E46 323.

My muffler originally came off an M Roadster as well. I took it to NoyZBoyz in Scar... and they sorted it out with ease. I bought 2 of them and Rally318ti has the other one on his 318ti.
Def worth the loot IMO.

Does the use of a Y pipe make more back pressure, which is not too good ?
02-29-2004, 01:34 AM
what would it cost for both exhausts with shipping to vancouver, bc?
02-29-2004, 07:17 AM
Awesome exhaust!!! Love every lil bit of it!!! So worth the money especially brand new.........Razkal & I loved it the sec it was installed! In my mind it was a gr8 step in the right direction, mind you its a tad loud at first but it's hard not to love after!!!
02-29-2004, 06:09 PM
Still two units available... great upgrade with the supersprint headers I'm selling!
03-03-2004, 12:43 AM
well i guess this guy doesnt want to sell these things. oh well i called the parts store and they cost of one new $165. great deal bud!
03-03-2004, 01:36 PM
Wasn't aware of that... the only quote locally I got was from a muffler shop, they wanted 300 each. I ordered them from the US and am selling at the price that I payed for them.
I'll drop the price to 150 though... my loss.
03-03-2004, 06:42 PM
$150 is US or CAD??
03-03-2004, 07:10 PM
03-04-2004, 01:16 PM
Once unit sold... only one more remaining 150 CND takes it.
These units are both brand new, never installed and still in original packaging.
