How much would I be looking at for a 92-94 318 or 325 is? Right now im trying to find a trade for my ix.. but if I cant I might just have to save some money and sell my car and buy an e36... I found a 94 318is for 8grand.. but i have a feeling i can find one for lower

Also, what are some things I should look out for when looking at these cars?

(ps. If anyone's looking for a 325ix and wants to trade/work out a deal with their e36... my only criteria is that its 2dr and 5spd, color isnt really an issue, engine size not too much of a concern)

my beige one is for sale for $8000 but it's automatic. It's still a good price though for a 325i that's fully loaded.

A buddy of mine has a 94 325i (4 door) 5 speed with only 167K

He wants to sell it. It's white and in imaculant condition. Never bin hit. He's asking 12,000. Comes with an upgraded aftermarket stereo system. Email me (tom@fieldofwebs.com) for further details. The car is located in thornhill

Get a 318ti. ;) You can find a number of them for around 8k. They are 1995+, light, 2dr and handle great. :D

IMHO, save up around $11,000 along with selling your current car, and buy a solid e36 with a good warranty. My e36 is a 92 and I had a full year warranty on it.. everything I found wrong in that year they fixed / replaced.. including timing chain tensioner, radiator.. and even small things like the window switch w/ a blown light bulb. Oh, not to mention a bent Type-45 rim from a 2002 325i.... replaced that too no questions asked.

The money I saved that year from the warranty... and from searching for every little thing that can possibly be wrong with the car. Now, a year later I don't have any worries.

I mean, you pay more initially---but for the piece of mind you get.. it's worth it!

Tranny swap is $1400 from Bimmersport. $9400 is still a good deal.

trust me ur car is out of my league... basically my max budget is whatever I can get for my car, plus maybe 1 grand at most though right now im not too well off on cash.... thats really why im looking to get a trade, plus i would let my car go with my new alpine deck (which is like 700retail) and with a 4ch amp (which is about 200 or so retail) hoping to sweeten the deal a bit

my cars in really good condition though...and im likely expecting to get a pretty rough shape 318is, so i think that for practical purposes (ie speed + reliability, plus the 4wd) ill likely be losing out, but hey im willing to take that just cause i love the e36 model

I just bought my 94 325is, 5-speed for $7600 ... 198k on the clock, but it runs like new, and the only thing I had to fix was the RSMs and 1 lower ball joint.

They are out there ... just gotta be patient!
