What trim are you talking about? I just did my windsheild / rear window trim today. It was nasty brown in the middle...I got some Duplicolor Trim Paint and a fat brush and sprayed some in the cap and brushed it on. Looks even and great! Even the over paint that got on to the outer black trim was absorbed and can not be seen at all...Im real happy and it took $3 and 35 mins to do...even on a rainy day! If your talking about the doors tho...lemme know...I wanna do them to but have no idea how. Thanks.

im talkin about the trim thats chrome, for later model e30s its only around the doors/windows on the sides... the early model e30s its on the front and back windows too i believe..

i remember reading there is a way to take it off..

I got that trim and its white. Just paint it nicely over it. You may mess it up by taking it put.

well right now its blacked out with tape..and the tape is a bitch to take off.. unless i use warm water.. which would require me to remove it altogether... plus i dont wana get any overspray onto the car, and im not too sure about painting it with a brush
