By the looks of the pictures, do you think this car is totalled? There is a guy near my place selling it, i just don't know for how much, nor do i have much info on it. It's an 88...

looks like there might be mild frame damage...i'd say jus get a clean one..who knows how he has treated if, after being in an accident it'd tell me he might have been careless

Yeah you would need to have a really good look at it to be able to tell. If you are not sure get someone you know who knows about stuff like that and see what they think. Maybe a mechanic.

i wouldn't buy an 88 that has been in a serious accident like that one. firstly, its already an old car so your going to have problems with it to begin with. Secondly, now that its been into an accident there are going to be many many more problems that will arise even after you get the car fixed. It will be in the shop every other day.

If it was an e46 then I would tell you to grip it but not an e30.

I don't want to buy it, i was just curious if the damage looks severe enough to total it. I would NEVER buy an E30 that has been in an accident.

Huh...
I'd rather have an e30 m3 than a stability controlled, dynamic drive, electrical mess of a car that is the e46. Don't get me wrong, e46's are sick, and M3s are amazing cars, but I think the 'funnest' m3 so far is the e30.
That's just me though.

A totalled E46 M3 for $7500 is worth it, a totalled E30 M3 isn't.

Damn man....what part of Montreal are you in that you find all these E30's! In the east end there's almost no E30's anywhere...

Check your PM :)

You left out the easiest things to sell: the motor and tranny.
I haven't seen any e30 M3's with an M Tech II wheel stock either :)

Ya, the S14 is worth alot on its own. The Mtech 2 wheel came on 1990 canadian M3s. 88s and 89s have Mtech 1. I want a 2:)
