Absolutely not. Your car has MUCH better throttle feel and steering weighting. And if you already have the Sport package, it's the same suspension anyways. Your car is also lighter.

Keep it. If you really want a coupe, get an '00 328Ci.

yup, stock for stock, the 330 is a bit faster, but go ahead and test drive both, you'll see what I mean. I test drove the 330 and 328, ended up liking the 328 much more

plus, the sedan is stiffer than the coupe, thats y most companies now race with sedans *th-up*

If it were my decision.... I'd stick with the 328i you have now.

why are sedans stiffer than coupes? espically since bmw uses the same E46 chasis for both coupe and sedan?

Cause of the bar that runs down both the doors, it gives better stability and covers more while the coupe has this big opening from the big door, so when you take turns the chassis is stronger on the sedan because of that extra bar. Someone correct me?? I got the right theory but I'm bad at putting it in words

P.S. By bar I mean the one inbetween the front and rear doors

anyone who says they test drove 330 and 328 and liked 328, just say you liked 328 because it's cheaper...

What about the new 2004 330Cis? Are they better in handling/performance then the 328? Because I too have a 328i sedan and Im thinking of getting a coupe.

the 330's have 225hp and sport suspension stock...the 328's only got 192 (not sure) and regular suspension..plus the 330's come with more standard features, but of course i higher price

Um.... actually no*no-no* After everything, my 328i came out to just over 45g's brand new fully loaded, with a few extra goodies added by the dealership, and the 330 I was considering was cheaper by 3 g's, so no, I did not get the 328 cuz it was cheaper, I got it cuz I liked how it drives better, u must be a 330 owner :moon:

What about the interior features & is it faster or is the hp difference misleading

if your going to be trading, why don't you just look into a 99 M3 then, that way you'll really see a performance increase
