Well guys it all happened this morning. I was going slow in this small street, passing thru this intersection, out of now where, this Big A$$ UPS truck came in front of me*uzi*. I pressed my brake like no other, because of freakin snow still there on the road, my car beautifully slides into the truck and hit it.

This is my first accident, I talked to my insurance company they said the adjuster will come tomorrow and inspect my car. Do you think it is worth fixing it. The car has 210K on milage, it is a 1990 535I. Maybe I just take the money and look for somthing else. Please give me input so I can make the best decision tomorrow.

Thanks

sorry to hear about your accident. Your car in white is lovely, you should try to get it fixed. Looking at the pics you posted it looks like it should be a hard fix if nothing got messedup underneat. Or unless the insurance gives you a good price where you can get another one with lower milage..

Thank you for the concern.

I called a very good Bodyshop here and just telling them how the condition on the car, They estimated around $3000. Thats including replacing the Hood, Fender, headlight, bumper and grill, they said it could be more because the have not look on the car. Damn! This sucks big time!

Damn... that looks bad..

$3000 US to fix? That's a lot. Depends on how much u like the car, didn't you have an E36 before?

It all depends on how much $$$ you have put into your car.
If you have spent a lot of money on it already replacing parts then yes, fix it.. if not then no, dont bother.

Thanks for all your concern guys.. I think, I will wait and see the adjuster from my insurance to inspect the car and see how much they are going to give me. When I got the car it was close to an excellent condition. I just spent my money for oil changes, flushed the brake fluid and replace the bushing on the thrust arm, other than that just sound system, reiger roof spoiler, and eyebrow which I could sell. If the money is decent I will take that money and parting the car and sell them on Ebay*th-up*
The worst part is I have to look around for another Bimmer.
