i'm gonna do a full exhaust this sunday. any suggestions on how to get my M42 motor to sound really smooth yet a bit racey? I have a Remus muffler I'm gonna put on it's really deep sounding.. but my problem is it's a 2 1/4 inch inlet pipe and the fatory one is 2 inch so should i use 2 1/4 from the headder back or stay with the 2 inch? i'm doing a new cat as well

Thanks guys

You should go 2 and 1/4 inch from the header all the way back
you want to try and keep the same size piping from the header outlet all the to the muffler, and then out the exhaust pipes for best performance.
If you can get a catalytic that has a 2 and 1/4inch inlet and outlet you're laughing!

you can always put resonators on to make it quieter at higher rpms

Sorry, i dont know anything about aftermarket ones
you could use the stock one, but the pipe would be too small probably =(
