Here's 135 in my '91 318is with a chip, intake and exhaust. It has a 3.25 diff in it, so it is much slower than stock. Funny part is, I still had another grand on the tach and one more gear.

Is that Stu or Alex?....

.... 2 questions.....

1) Is that a photograph of a little boy on the cluster? (you pev!)
2) Are you sure you should be going that fast downhill with no brake pads and an oilservice due?

Haahaha Randy... Looks like he used all his gas getting there too!

I donno if you could go that fast with the stock 4.10 gear in there. I've had my 91 318is up to about 110 without chip.

I'm pretty sure it can go those speeds
but the picture sure looks odd

a) no gas, or you're running out
b) no brake lining? and risking that speed?
c) why are the service lights on?

sounds like you should probably fill 'er up before going 135mp/h

But that's one mean 318 doin' speeds like that! *th-up*

with stock 4.10 gearing the 318is is limited to 127mph (5th redlined). speedometers are never 100% accurate, especially at high speeds where they are not calibrated as well as they are from in the 0-70 range. ive had mine (no chip) to 120 before and that was just about all she had left. it was taking forever to climb any faster. where did you get the red needles though? paint them yourself? they look nice *th-up*

His MPG guage under his tac should be to the far right, if hes on the gas at all to remain at those speeds.

Sorry it took me so long to reply. Yes, that pic is mine (Stu), but I accidentally posted under Alexs name. To answer your questions. I actually had 1/4 tank of gas, but my guage is messed up and it fluctuates like hell. I have fresh EBC greenstuff pads on my car, but when I swapped my suspension, I cut the lining sensor wire (don't ask why). Yes, surprising, I was getting 13mpg, which is kinda cool. Also, a 318is with a 4.10 gear will do 145 at 6800 in 5th; trust me, we've done it. Randy, that is my girlfriend BTW. Also, my service lights are outta whack, I changed the oil last week and have about 600 miles on the change.

Guys, I would never go those speeds if I had literally no gas and no pads.
