Can anybody please help me ASAP?!?!
I blew my engine a couple of weeks ago and now I am desperately searching for a 96-98 M3 for a donor car. I want to swap the engine, transmission, differential and front suspension. If anyone knows where I can get a salvaged M3 with low miles I would greatly appreciate it. I live in Windsor, Ontario, Canada but would be willing to import the car from anywhere. I have 3 car shows in 2 weeks so timing is critical. Please email me alo@mnsi.net.

Nitrous oxide while racing a Rustang. Didn't let the engine warm up before I shot *uzi*

wow
how does the 318 w/nitrous hold up against a rustang?
pretty well if the stang is stock?

I tried to race a mustang a month ago, just for fun. The guy and i both knew i was going to lose but it wasn't for money or anything. I would have to say i looked like  because that thing shot off like a bat out of hell! I've never even raced a car so fast before! Problem for him was that he was all torque, and when he got up to about 120km/h he started topping out, and i was catching up fast heheh. I think if we raced for half a mile, i might have either won or come close.

Actually we were going about 60Km/h to start when he tried to pass me 'TRIED'. I hit the nitrous and he couldn't get ahead of me. He had to pull behind me and actually I started to pull away from him, that is untill I heard a bang, you could only imagine what that was:mad: . I was running a 75 HP shot but if I was on a stand still race, he would have rocked me for sure. Now I am getting 170 from cylinder #2,3,4 psi and 25 psi from cylinder #1.

Thanks for the info but I am looking for a 96-98 because I have a OBD-II system and would like to stay with it.

Why are you looking for a donor car, when you can just buy the powertrain for much cheaper, and not have the hassle of trying to pawn off the donor car?

A used (low mileage) 3.2L US spec M3 motor and tranny will go for about $10,000, plus another $2500 for install.

If you're willing to deal with several people in the U.S. and take your chances, you can get motor / tranny combo's for about $4,000 US (6,500 CDN), plus install.

Driveshaft and rear diff tend to run about $1,500 max....plus install.

Buying a complete donor car tends to be more difficult; OBD-II motors are quite common, and you can generally get ahold of one in less than a week's time.

Thank you for the info but the idea is that why should I pay $10,000 for just the engine and tranny when I can get the whole car (including the suspention, brakes and seats which I would swap also) for the same price? I found a car with only 20,000 miles on it for $6500 US + $500 for shipping. I've got a guy to do the swap for $1600 Can. I am debating now if this is a good deal.

$6500 US plus $500 for shipping, for a full E36 M3 with 20,000 miles on it. E30 M3s are going for more than that; much moreso for E36 M3s, particularly the 3.2L. A 20,000 mile E36 3.2L motor including wiring harness etc can go for that much.

BS....or it's stolen, or trashed.

Either way, you have no idea of what condition the drivetrain is in, or if the car is even in resellable condition (including many of the parts in it).

I'd be extremely cautious about this deal; if it sounds too good to be true, then it likely is.

Yes it is trashed. As stated in my first post, I am looking for a salvaged M3 not a good one. I found about 3 cars in this condiditon with good engine and low miles that have been in a rollover. The seats are mint and I will be getting pictures of all the rest shortly. Of course the body is messed but I don't care about that.
