Hey guys,

FYI - a few of us BMW roadster owners started an informal roadster club last year. Note that this is NOT the same club started by the guy who runs the www.bmwroadster.com website - that club seems to be defunct now (and I question whether if even it existed in the first place). There are NO FEES and it is really just a bunch of enthusiasts who like to get together and talk about their 2 seat Bimmers! Besides Z3's, Z4's, and M Roadsters, M Coupe owners are also welcome (we already have one in the club).

We meet once a month on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Currently we meet at the Bloor Street Diner Bistro at Leslie and York Mills at 10:00 am (the club "president" runs the restaurant). Check out my home page for more details

While no real "events" took place last year, we are planning on some country cruises (e.g. thru wine country) starting in the spring. There is only about 6 of us so far, but we would like it to get to at least an even dozen by the spring.

Check out my home page for info. about our monthly meetings as well as our members and pictures of their cars. You can also email me or respond to this post if you are interested or would like more info.

Cheers.

Hey crusher,

*th-up*

Thanks for the offer; however, I'm planning on trying to nab the bmwroadster.com domain soon and move my web page there (the current ownership expires soon). If I can pick up that domain I will re-host the site from a free web-hosting provider I use (they allow me up to 100MB of free space). However, if this doesn't work out I may take you up on your generous offer.

Cheers.

Good idea.... as long as there's no snow (there was last year) I'll be in. May be able to drag out a coiuple other roadster's as well....

I'll probably roll to a couple cruises but due to my commitment to max it might be quite limited

Glad to see there is some interest guys! As spring (and some top down weather) draws nearer  , I will post details of any cruises we are planning here.

Now, it's hard to tell whether any you have more than just a casual interest in our club (which is fine - we would still love to have you join any of our cruises), but if you would like to be considered an official member please let me know by emailing me (or posting here). I will add you to the member page of our website (includes picture of your car with the details of your ride) as well as add you to our email distribution list so that you are kept up to date on our meets and so forth.

Cheers,

MBeacher

fyi - the location of our meetings has changed - we are now meeting at Murphy's Law (pub at the corner of Queen St. E. and Kingston Road). Still every 3rd Saturday of every month at 10:00 am.... our next meeting is on Feb. 21.
