Anybody have any feedback on those products that help reduce the cloudy stuff on the inside of the the headlights?

Yup get ZKW euro ellipsoids! Fixes the problem right up lol. Mine are pitted but there is just no use because you can pick up a nice set of euro ellipsoids for like $150bucks off ebay.

i find it puzzling that bmw makes these (headlights with daylight rings of light coming out of them) as stock items. but the aftermarket people have tried many different ways to try and simulate whats stock, but they end up looking cheap or overdone whats keeping me from settling on a set is the daytime look of some of these units out there. i like the way the stock ones look, and i'll jsut wait around until someone can put a plug an play package out there for a reasonable price, the pricepoint for me is in the $300USD realm. it'll be a while before they get into that realm but thats where i see some confusion. and i havent' even looked at bulbs, yikes

in the line of the original thread there's some info at bimmer forums discussing the plexus product as well as some techniques that involve sanding.
