I have an '84 533i and I would like to purchase a set of "euro bumpers". Does anybody know a website or place that sells them? or gives information about them...? I saw some M535 ones on ebay...would those fit a 533i? Any comments would be greatly appreciated!

IT will be unbelievably hard for you to acquire e28 euro bumpers. VERY HARD! Your best bet is to be on ebay.de everyday searching and if you are lucky, you will find some. Now prices vary, but they usually exceed 800 US dollars on ebay (that both front , and rear, and decent used condition). any euro bumpers from an e28 will fit on ur 533i. Good luck, and keep us updated.

I could have but it would be unsafe to put them on a car, i think. Since the euro bumpers are metal they absorb the impact, there is no othere rebar, if i make it out of fiberglass it would look the same, untill you hit something!:(
