check this out it the grab it rabbit its our racing car that the family has been working on 11 second 1/4 mile and come down more this spring to 9 second hopefully if every thing goes right.
Looks nice. What kind of motor does it use?

its got a 16 valve turbo
Isnt 2 seconds very much!?! How much power do you guess it takes to go down to 9 s, and how much hp is it possible to get out from a 16v at all?
I remember reading about a german mk1 that did high 10 on 1/4 mile with a turbo 16v motor. I guess your would be the fastest rabbit in the world if it can do 9.

its not hard to bring it down 2 second because the car only has minor things done to it. this year a bigger turbo is going in and more motor work so hopefully that will bring it down that far the car does now 11.10 at 345 hp to the wheels with small turbo, cams and management system.
Good luck with going for the 9. Post info if/when you reach it.

Can't wait! Jack knows his stuff, I'm sure you guys will at least run low 10s if you're set out to do 9s :)
Anyway, there's lugnuts' 16v rocco that ran a 9.95@140ish, that's the fastest vw 16v in the world right now, and it will be faster next season.
