Looks like they switched over to winter rims/tires...seen that on a G35 coupe just yesterday and it left a huge gap with the wheels deep inside the fender.

Sadly, I'm not even driving the coupe from here on in, but the last couple weeks of warm/salt-free driving have been nice:)

The gap sucks worse than not driving at all. I'd rather take the bus as opposed to subjecting an ///M to our winter salters IMHO.

hm... slim tires are fine... but at least get some rims with the right offset and put on some spacers to make it feel right.. that's plain horrible. IMO

can't you just take it out on the roads and just wash the car every friday at one of those soft cloth washes?:idea:

or will that still harm ur car's finish or something:confused:

In truth, I do drive my car in the winter. I take it out once a month (or so) and give it a good hounding. Then I wash it and put it under the cover till the next good weather arrives.
