Out of the 3 i think the first Hamman looks the best.
As for BBS have you seen the BBS LM (Le Mans) damm they look real nice, or Schnizter type I & II are sweet as well :)

Yeah i seen the LM's. they are tight rims too...ahhhh, this is the hardest decision in the world it either makes or breakes the look of the car. oh well got until spring i guess. Maybe some new ones will pop up;)

Yes a very tough decision to make. I have kinda decided not to up grade my rims for the fear of slowing the car down because of the weight. From people in the know over here it's not a very good ides it you wann keep your acceleration quick. The M3 run the fastest on the standard 15". I has the later stock 16".
Plus the handling isn't as predictable from what i have heard, so i gonna stick with my little 16", but I think I'll end up changing them some day. I would rather put the money into the engine at the moment.

yeah i agree with you in the slowing down part, thats for sure. With my old e36, whenever i changed my rims from my 15" to 17" it slowed down the acceleration drasticaly. I hated it, but looks better though, hehe. I tried staying away from races at the time.;)

That's the thing with the M3 it's such a well balanced car that i don't want to mess up all the motorsport guys hard work in making such a well sorted out car. I think it looks pretty good as it is i can live with it. And I wouldn't want it any slower. But yeah big wheels look good, but the older cars were never designed to run on those size of wheels which is why it probably why it affects then so much.
Have you ever been in an E30 M3 Bliss?

Bliss

Been in one...amazing car. I love the E30's.

I personally like the PG2's, the first picture u have above.

However, I'm sure you could find some lightweight rims for 17 or 18 inch such as Kinensis and dtm kruz, which i heard were forged rims? correct me if i'm wrong. Or it doesn't make a difference?

I'd agree that the BBS LM look's really nice, my neighbour had either the 18" or 19" on his supercharged M3 E36. I've got pictures of it somewhere, ah well. Any other wheel choices Bliss? just only those three that you like the best?

Bliss
12-10-2001, 06:52 PM
nah, those i think i like the most right now, but any can come up at any time. Any preferences are appreciated. thanks guys.:)

Bliss

yeah, those are nice, they look very simular to Randy's. They would look better on the E30's i think. On your ride it would look sweeet. just my .2:)

The Hamonn hm2 and the E46 go together like bread and butter.
I have seen one guy running around with 18. And I know where you can get them for a good price, so says the guy that had them.

How much for the BBS CH's???
I LOVE the look of the hamann wheels but they are so damn played out! The hamann PG2's are how much?

Bliss
12-12-2001, 06:32 PM
i know supremepowerparts are giving me the best deal so far, but can't recall the prices right now. The most expensive are the pg2 cuz of the 2 piece construction, then its the hamann hm2 and the ch's, but I also think the pg2's are getting played out.

Tough choice, my choice would be the hm2's I like the clean look of the rim.

I'm sure whatever your final choice is it will be nice. Good Luck!

How much are those M6 (Style 167) wheels from the dealer? I've been keeping an eye out for a used set without much luck.
Those Carline CM6's are sweet too... not your everyday.

The rims Bliss went with match the car though.
