my brother told me that at www.hobbyhobby.com they just got a Ofna with 2 2.5 motors. they are only selling it to experienced owners cause with that much power, a flick of the throttle will flip the truck easily

Makes my Kyosho turbo Ultima look slow*sad*

R/C cars are a lot of fun to jump. I sold all mine last spring, but I had a nice arsenal of Team Losi's though. I had a XXX buggy, a XXT-CR truck, and I had just gotten a XXX-NT. The XXX and the XXT-CR were able to get up to about 50km running with 12 turn electric motors. While the XXX-NT running with a .12 would have been able to hit roughly 60km. I used to be able to do flips with them off of dirt jumps. Both front and back, depending on how much you gassed it or hit the brakes while in the air. I landed on flat and beat the shit out of them soo many times and I hardly ever broke parts which was nice. The Team Losi R/C cars are tough as shit. Good fun. Racing was a blast too. Hobby Hobby is a good place to start for anyone who wants R/C cars. Or Pinnacle Hobby in Markham, it is run by a pro racer (I think). And ya that had to have been a Kyosho inferno in the video or an OFNA.

A & J hobbies or Hobby Hobby are good places to get into RC. If you get into it just kick and hack around it's not bad but if you catch the RC bug and start racing it can quickly get quite expensive. My friends and I used to joke around how parts for our 1:1 scale cars(real cars) were cheaper than 1:10 scale hobby kits.

Man I miss those RC days... Tamiya TRF, HPI Pro2, Team Associated Factory Team TC3 ripping around the track with 10 turn modified motors:)

that hobby site was top much even tower hobbies is cheaper imo here in nyc where i live i got me a ofna mbx pro for 350 there they want 450 and over 700 for ass monster gt man there going for 500 everywhere else . anyway that jump was sick . i dont know if would have done it .

that is one crazy RC... i have one and i am luckey to get it to jump 3 feet... stupid battery power... i want nitro

11-23-2003, 05:11 PM
nitro are kool and more fun to drive but also your always ajusting the motor to the weather . electric all you need is water proof setup and unlimited battery supply .and with enough power you can get an electric to do that jump . but not any of mine . i.ve paid tomuch to smash them . but give me your rc and the supplies and ill jump it acroos the hole house lol
