from what i remember people saying that for your witner tires is better to have smaller tires i.e. 185 or 195 max 205 in width dont go with 225 is too wide for winter and you'll save your self some money too

i got 205/65R15 Michelin Pilot Alpins

go with 205's forsure for your 16" wheels.......15"Wheels are the best, the smaller and less width is better for traction.......

thanks for the advice guys... i'm debating putting on my 16" rims as winters and selling my 15" steelies... maybe i should reconsider:confused:
still confused though...is it really worth having decent looking rims in the winter or should i just stick with the steelies

I had those rims on my car, but i sold them to get the rims i have now. then i bought winter tires from a friend that owned a tire shop and included steelies. he also had BMW hub cabs he threw in. worked out very well for me. but now, i wish i kept my original rims and put winters on those. just looks more appealing.

if those are your only rims, i'd say get the steelies so they don't go through the winter abuse (salt, etc). but i would definitely take care of those rims for summers only. Good Luck! *th-up*

Use 205/55/16, this size will work.
