Nice job on the calipers man, I've only ever seen your car at night, the day pic: DAAAAAAMMMMM, thats one sweet ride, I love the interior, just the right amount of red in the right places IMO. Keep up the good work, and f#%k what people say about the dark tint(I don't personally like tint at all), I will say though on your ride it looks*th-up* . Later T...

Car looks awsome too..

with that VHT stuff, it will never dull or burn off but it's not very impact resistant.. so keep the tools away from it and they should stay blingin'.

Ryan

thanks rye*th-up* , they are kinda dull though, i guess its better that way, the rims shine enough.

(yours look WAY better, did you use something else for a finish coat??)

What is the smallest spacer like that? I thought the smallest one was like 40mm.

Good job on the calipers! it's ABOUT time you painted them :) It looks so much better expecially with the 5 spoke wheels exposing so much of the breaks.

With that VHT stuff, it will never dull or burn off but it's not very impact resistant.. so keep the tools away from it and they should stay blingin'.

Here is some more red calipers for you to admire LOL

nice*th-up* , so is that all you used as well to paint them????

Slowered318

I used the same VHT stuff.. but i took the calipers completely appart and used the bench grinder with a wire wheel to remove all the old paint/rust/dust/boogers and then gave them 3 coats inside and out. some parts i spray lightly with more coats.. but the VHT paint only really shines if you spray it on really thick.

It took a very long time, and it wasn't really worth it because they are slightly chipped now... cause i'm too clumsy

your's still look pretty damn good.

I love the way red calipers look. I did the ones on my parents E46 last spring, they still look like the day I did it. I used the Folia Tec G2 Caliper Paint.

I would have done my car's a long time ago but you can barely see it through the basketweaves, lol.

hihi windsor, you have a NICE NICE NICE car.
i ddin't really fancy how the E36 M3 kit look on the E30 previously but now i think it's okay. though the front bumper still look too squarish for the E30 shape.

but i really like how your car look overall.
the spacers are great stuff.
i've always wanted some spacers and i shall do it soon!

and i REALLY love red. especially how they look on your car.

i need a paintjob soon. and i'm still deciding wether to keep my Nogaro silver or do red. BRIGHT red...
i have a black E34 and i like the way it look WET and DEEP whenever i wax it. so red is good for that.

do you think i should keep Nogaro silver or do red?

Shame, you guys can't play with your BMW's all year round. Here in sunny South Africa we have very mild winters, only down to 1 or 2 degrees centegrade at night, in the day its about 10 deg. We are in summer now, nice and warm 30deg, aircon on most of the day.

Our BMW's never hibernate.

I was debating either to use the Red or Silver, I bought both cans but after I sprayed the red it wouldn't stay as good, one coat of silver and the thing shined like to tomorrow....Its not the Bond Facility it's Mister J's i think:confused:
