i was really hoping for a nice dish on the rims, but there doesn't seem to be too much available unless you go the 16x9 route...

The pro race are damn ugly. The second ones look great though. What about azev m? they come in 17x9 and are in an e30 fitment. From the rest of your car it looks like you are concerned about quality and azev's ****ing rule.

jer those rojas are like 700 canadian a piece i priced them already, not to much????

they go for pretty cheap on ebay.....i e-mailed one of the sellers (tires-n-parts) to see if he could give me a price on the 19"s.....700 canadian isnt too bad, compared to the iforged :( ... will the 19"s work ok though ?

Mitch555
10-17-2003, 05:48 PM
Get a rim that you like a lot and get someone in the photoshop section to put them on your car and to make them look like 19z! Thatz probably your best bet cuz getting pictures of 19z on an E30 are hard to come by!

19's should work but the overall diameter will be bigger than factory spec...........because knowone makes a 225/30/19 tire you have to go with 35 section which i belive only pirelli P7000's and yoko pradas come in last time i check for them.

it will work fine, you will definetly need to roll the bitchs though....

jeremy
10-17-2003, 05:52 PM
can't i run a 215 35 r19 ? or is there such a beast ?

windsor318is
10-17-2003, 05:56 PM
yup 215 perelli p7000 but for it to be the right size so it doesnt throw your speedo out it needs to be a 30 series side wall, doesnt really matter anyways

DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

jer gotta fly, work time*wave* ill check your progress later*angel*

jeremy
10-17-2003, 05:59 PM
hahaha.....i e-mailed roja to try and find a distributor in canada.....hopefully i hear back from them....1010 tires used to carry them :(

in the meantime.....any other ideas/input on rims ??

Mitch555
10-17-2003, 06:07 PM
Just be careful with the 19z with whatever tires you fit on them. Make sure your Rieger kit doesn't interfere with them!

Check out this site for rims and prices. Click on the "Shop For Wheels By Brand" on the far left and go through the different rims and see if you like any of them.

Does ROJA have a set in 17 or 18 that fit E30s offset?
If they do you'd be the first wE30 that Ive ever seen with them and you'd be the envy of everyone at www.bimmerforus.com
they go nuts for these rims, and can you blame them?!? these things are sick.

PS, I say get 17s. Anything bigger would just kill the performance of your M3 engine... is your E30 strictly a show car?

the 17"s and 18"s are both +42 offset, WAY to high :(

the problem your going to run into with finding wheels is your car has a very aggressive look to it and finding wheels to match means your going to have to dive into the honda bin (not a crack at rice they just have stuff that would fit his car's aggressive look) which also puts you in a fwd offset. one wheel size try not to go over 17, 17 is usually overkill on an e30, 16 being the ideal size, but again there are exceptions, like your car actually looks pretty good with whatever size is on now...what size are you roling on now?

hes rollin on 18" in his sign, a kitted e30 with "ideal" 16" rims would look RETARDED....like what mine did after i put the kit on.....i have this feeling you are a hard core E3S member:huh?:

MIGUEL - nice find, i didnt know they go so low on ebay, but i know for a fact the 18" i priced where in the 700 ball park price.

JER - do you have an OK tire in the area??? they carry RO_JA wheels, they have a panflit with all the sizes and there offsets on the back of it. they do hace 20mm offset rims..........but they are deep dish:rolleyes:

i was just going by their website... www.rojawheels.com ... i do think that 19"s will be OVERKILL....but i just want something that fits properely.... you know me, i probably will be looking for awhile....i think i shouldnt have to "settle" on rims....

actually I didn't say 16s were ideal on a kitted car. I just look at alot of e30s and 16s are the best looking wheel on the majority of them, but like I said with cars like jeremy's there are exceptions. the 18's on his car look pretty good, but others I have seen with 18 look like ass
