Is the amp a 1/2 channel? Are we talking RMS here? What is the RMS of each sub?

2 channel.
300rms each sub

If the amp is 600RMS then it all works out. I still would not push it to max too much however, as your amp will start distorting around 600 and poor signal is what blows subs.

Use the Kenwood for now. Upgrade if you feel that you are really pushing it all the time. I doubt you will need to though.

You have a Kenwood 600 watt amp? divide that by 3 and you have what the amp can REALLY handle! Kenwood alwayz puts false figures on their amps! Their "1000 watt" amps can barely push 400 watts peak @ 1 ohm! lol

Might need to upgrade to a flux capacitor.. 1.21 gigawatts :D

but seriously.. you would be just as well off with one 12" and that amp. or if you already own the 2 - 12's upgrade to a 1000 watt kicker D-class or equivalent.

I happen to be selling my flux capacitor, and I'll throw in Mr. Fusion with it, so your no longer needing the 1.21 Gigawatts of electricity, (or a bolt of lightning). Let me know.

Lennon, do you have the wheels too? I'm interested in doing the "hover conversion" on my 3-series. Do I still need 1.21 gigawatts if I don't do time travel? Let me know.

It can hurt like hell. If the amp isn't up to the task, as I said earlier in the thread, it will begin to distort before the subs do. This will almost instantly blow the sub(s).
