View Full Version : Should I trade my HRE 441R for BBS LM?

10-07-2003, 11:35 PM
Hey guys,
As many of you already know I have 19" HRE 441R on my car right now. I have a chance to do a swap with someone for BBS LM, they are also practically new like my rims. Should I go for it, I almost bought LM's instead of the HREs initially anyways. Are the LM forged aswell like my HRE's? Any opinions would be welcomed. Thanks.

hellll no man HRE owns BBS LM

just slam ur car with those FK coilovers that are in the group buy section

Im actually leaning towards the LM at this point.

id say go with the HRE..just becuase BBS is getting "overplayed" even though LM are sick rims..

I was totally sold on the idea, but now Im starting to think twice. BBS is so light though.

You should get BBS RS GT or even the BBS GT2's (which is hard to get)

BBS is mass produced while the HRE's are more exclusive.
Stick with the HRE.

exactly the hre are sick rims but the lm's are jsut as sick but u will see mroe ppl with those rims. jsut slam the shit outs your car n u wont regret not trading rims

Do you have a pic of your car? I wanna see if the LM's will look better on your car instead of the HRE's that you have on now.

Well since i dont have the LMs yet, then no. But there are pics of my car with the HRE's. As of now, Im still not decided, but I have to decide soon. Thanks for the input so far guys.

lol... I meant put a pic of your car with the HRE's on here and then we can tell you if the LM's will look good on your car by using our imaginations. :D

LMs looks sick
stick with the HRE's...they're more unique

Mitch, if you do a search under my username, my pics will come up and you can see how they look on the car. They look great, the 441R is a sick rim, but so is the LM. Im not so concerned about whether its common or not, because frankly, its what I like right, and I dont see either brand nor rim frequently.

Think Im gonna keep them, hhhhhhhmmmmmm?

Looks good! But if you lower your car it will look A LOT better. Then you might not want to change to the LM's.

10-10-2003, 05:20 PM
well lowering gots nuttin to do with either of the rims. The car looks a lot more jacked up in the pics than in real life.

I might have the HREs refinished, get the Brushed Aluminum finish on them.

10-10-2003, 05:31 PM
So what exactly is your problem with the rims you have now? Why do you want to change them? You just like the LM's better now? Like I said... if you lower your car it will look REALLY good with those HRE's.

10-10-2003, 06:05 PM
I just like the look of the LM too, variety is the spice of life buddy, but the HREs are also pimpin.

Stalker, if you want to do anything, gunmetal the center rims your car bodycolor! It will look sick! Oh yeah and lower it

10-10-2003, 07:58 PM
Here. I painted the grilles & indicator & rims bodycolor. You can also try black, dark blue, or any darker color. It would look great! *love*

gunmetal looks great on white, black and silver.

If you want to be different stick with the HREs. Not too many HREs in this neck of the woods, probably not even one of 441s.

10-15-2003, 03:20 PM
you are right, I have never seen 441R. I have seen a few sets of 545 and 542 though. I think Im gonna keep them and get them refinished to the Brushed Aluminum look.

it's not which one is more played out or not. it's all about the style.
