Well, I bought it 3 weeks ago, when I saw it sitting at a local small dealer going for 4000$ cert, e-tested.
It's a 1986 e30 325e, 2.7L, 121bhp, 165lb of torque (or somewhere near there), straight 6cyl.
No rust anywhere, many undercoatings and rustproofings done, 1 owner since new, lady driven, 200,000kms, the car is in great shape and runs well.

It has all new parts, brakes, new timing belt or chain???, fuel pump, new A/C condensor.

I couldn't resist passing it up, and I love the way it drives. It's such a classic BMW, it is totally different from my 323is.

I need some suggestions, on body kits, rims, etc. I am also going to change my own oil and was wondering brand, grade, etc.

Let me know what you think.
Thanks
Jay

It looks like its in pretty good condition.

Are you going to use it as a beater in winter?

Yep it is 5 spd of course. I have had the car on a hoist and you can see that there were many undercoats done. There isn't any rust. It's a nice little car.

Nice !

well a good start would be KW Coilovers, and then get the plastic e30 bumper conversion done, something similiar to this.

then get some 17-18" wheels, and your set..

You Are right, thats basically what I want to do to the car, it needs to be lowered, a bit uneasy in the turns, not like my e36, 17" wheels, and the god awful bumpers, any idea where I can get that bumper conversion done?
Thanks man

Yesm but he cant use the stock shocks, even with the OBX. The ride will be terrible ! and he will easily blow the shocks.OBX are just sleeves as well.
The KW's come with matched shocks/springs.They are a full coilover kit, no sleeves.

sorry rob but he cant use kw's in the rear unless he plans on having a full weld in cage made to take the load off the rear sock towers, otherwise they will rip right through in a matter of days. e30 shock towers are netorious for ripping out under load, and a coilover is going to place way more load on it than just a shock would, hence why the e30 rear spring isnt over the rear shock like in the front.
