for some reason, I'm not a fan of prototype cars/racing....

it's Touring cars for me and Formula 1.

Thanks for the pics. I was at Mosport for the ALMS event sitting in corner 5 as well, and I loved it. Soo much passing and constant choas on the track. Man, those Maranello's were really fast coming out of 5C. I can not wait for next year, and maybe camp for the whole week-end

Just my 2 cents so nobody need get offened, but...
It costs minimum $3K to go to Montreal for the weekend for the F1, flight, tickets, entertainment *drink* and accomodation. The cars are on the track for an hour each day with an hour and a half race. No support racing at all. Not like it used to be when I used to go in the 1980s but that's another story. I'll post some pics one of these days.

Mosport ALMS weekend on the other hand costs $50 for the weekend camping included. You have complete pit access, I met Johnny Herbert, Ron Fellows, James Weaver, JJ Leyto, Jan Magnussen and David Brabham this year. They are all super friendly by the way. You get close up access to the fastest sports cars on the planet. The race is 2 3/4 hours with over two hours of practice on Friday and Saturday and tons of support racing.
Pretty good evertainment value.

No offence taken here. I must agree, from a value stand point, ALMS racing provides the best $$ in the racing world right now. And yes the pits are wide open, even better than CART.
