08-21-2003, 07:01 AM
from what i understand Alpina are like ACS. They take the stock BMW are then bore them out, change the cams brakes etc and also add a few styling parts. They also have their own chasis number i.e. they cross the bmw one out and have there own ALXXX etc etc. Does anyone know who stocks the carbon fibre keidney grills I have been after a set for ages and there like gold dust over here in the UK. thanks for you comments guys I am sure we can help one another out :-)

08-21-2003, 07:02 AM
yeah you can order those gauges from over here in the states if you guys like anything on my car then drop me an email at bhamrak@bp.com and i'll find the prices for you. I brought a lot of my stuff from a compnay called motormec that are based over here in the uk. visit www.motormec.co.uk for for details. there tel number is 01502 500 590 just tell them kav sent you. :-)

08-21-2003, 07:04 AM

Nice job. Love those Alpina rims in matching colour!

08-21-2003, 12:45 PM
yeah i had a company dimound cut and polish the wheels after they had colour coded the spokes for me, i think i thelp the car stand out a bit more :-)

08-22-2003, 10:47 PM
Nice B3 3.0!
It's too bad you covered up the word ALPINA on the side of the engine though with chrome. I would have embossed it or something in the chrome.

p.s. I'll see if my friend can make another set of carbon fiber kidney grills. I have a set, but they were custom made (and expensive) but he owed me a favour or two.
