now you need to change the brake sensor as well. Once you see the light, you have to change the sensor.

Can you explain when the brake sensor activates and why it needs to be replaced once it goes off? I would like to replace my pads before this occurs. Thanks

The sensor goes off because the material on your brake pads are getting low, and as for replacing them once it goes off...dunno. Sensors are probably around the $15 to $20 range.

sorry dude i just checked out the pic and responded

It is not a traction control light.
It is worn out brake pads light.

phaust, no you only need 2 sensors.
BMW has brake sensors on the left front nd rear right wheels.

If you look at the sensor it looks like a half circle pointing twards the inside of the lining. If that semi-circle is worn off the sensor then you will have to change the sensor. If you havent used your brakes too much since the light came on, then you can reuse the sensor.

btw. somebody have a CD of the manual or any material about a 325is 1995, like i saw at the garage... it's like a 3d view of your car, with all parts number...
