Hi folks,

my name is vincent

I'm from south shore of Mtl, Qc and I'm the happy(till now) owner of a bmw*th-up*

I've got an E30 318i 1991 with standard transmission, 6 cd changer, black leather seats, fog lights. all that was already on the car when I bought it in october 2002. I didn't had the chance to put anything on it yet, since all i've done is repairs.

I had an accident in nov 2002 so my baby was stored for the winter and when it was almost ready to make its come back on the streets, something blown up in the engine bay, so now its still stored and I'm getting depressed thinking about it... :(

thats it for now

thx guys

openwheel: dunno exactly what blew up. here's what happened: I started the engine and then eared(sp?) a noise(like something blowing up:huh?: ) , but not a loud one. and white smoke was coming out of the front left side. engine did not stop, its just when i saw the smoke that i turned it off.

When I started it the second time, the engine had a hard time running(like wrong timing) and stopped by itself...

So I tought it was the problem was the timing chain, so i checked it out, but it seems in good condition.

Anyone have a clue on what it could be?
