LOL

My car stinks, and i mean STINKS, like someone left rotten eggs under the passenger seat...

There was a sometype of burger king sauce that got stuck under the passenger seat that i think is making that funky smell.....

I wanna clean my carpets so how do the seats come off so I can clean under the seats, its too hard to clean with the god dam bmw seats they are really low. I have power heated seats...

Any help??

the seats come off by removing the bolts that are holding them down

If it smell like a rotten egg, then there is a great chance of cat converter being shot. You should be able to pick up a universal hi-flow cat for about 120 bucks.

Maybe, Its a dead cat under your seat :D

EDIT: Or It could be the following. When My bro got new exhaust after giving it a beating it would smell like and "egger fart". Just A Thought.:)

You could just have an exhaust leak, when I first got my e30 there was a hole where somebody had done an awful welding job. It would smell like sulphur after a long drive.

Its not worth it for me to sell my car because every e36 out there has the same problems.

And the only car id wanna sell mine for is an e46 or an e36cab

(low bmw) has my exact car in cab, and i wish i could chop my top.

i have had the rotten egg smell in both my E36's. It's not always the catalytic converters fault, but rather the gas you're using. I find that if I use the Esso gas from the station near my house I *always* get that bad smell, but if I use something like Petro Canada, or Sunoco, I dont get it at all. Some gas brands probably have more sulphur content than normal which is causing the bad smells. Also, using premium fuel can cut down on the stink, but still, even that Esso station's premium fuel gets smelly after a short 200km/h run.
