View Full Version : Installing Stainless Steel Brake Lines

main questions is do i have to empty all the brake fluid and then install them?? is there a specific procedure/steps i should follow?? i think i already have an idea of how to bleed the brakes...

You don't have to empty it but when you change the lines most of it is going to leak out. If I was you when you are changing it just replace all the fluid in it start with some fresh brake fluid.

ok thanks! yeah i was thinking i was gonna change it regardless, just wondering if there are any tricks that would make it easier, or more efficient....

id say open all the lines remove them from the calipers and get4 little pails and get somone pumping the brakes for it to drail faster

and try not to touch the car paint !!!!!
ATTENTION DO NOT TOUCH THE PAINT IF U HAVE TOUCH THE OIL!!
it will strip it watch out and cover ur fenders maybe !
