Finally got around to do some machining on my 8 piston calipers that im making. From the size of them they look like overkill, but I like'em.

Yea ok 8 pistons, but whatcha gona use to pump the fluid to them.Or will you jus push so hard that your foot goes through the floorboard and you what does the Barny Rubble stop?
Check this out Ireland Engineering use the new Corvette Brakes, yup yup yup Chevy crap a dime a dozen.

AH, Uhm, Do you honestly think that if I have the technical capability to design and machine 8 pots, that I didn't realize I would need more volume of brake fluid to push the pads without bottoming the pedal? Keep your sarcasm to yourself smartass! Chevy crap nothing! My engine swap is gonna be incorperating the tried, tested and true small block 350 pushing upwards of 600hp.

Sweet stuff mate, I love doing custom work for cars instead of paying out cash to someone else. I have made some plenums and exhaust manifolds for various skylines as well as a titanium dump from a turbo.....here is a little pic of us using my friends dads CNC Lathe for our first project, a gear knob (He also has a CNC milling machine) Its not what you know sometimes but who :)

Keep up the good work mate.

1. The rough alloy bar

2. Inputting the design
http://www.urban-adventure.net/images/knob%20set%20up%202.JPG

3. The finished product (Just over one minute to produce at a cost of $15)

You lucky bastard:D I only wish I had machines like that. CNC*mw* all I have is manual machines, I don't have the cash flow for the cnc yet but one day I will*th-up* Keep up the great work. Have any pics of the plenum you made?

BOOSTMEISTER

Lucky...you bet I am, we are VERY fortunate to have access to his gear, best of all he doesn't charge us $180/hour for programming *th-up* While on the topic of brakes, the guy who ownes the CNC gear makes brake components and suspension gear for one of the major go-cart manufactures here in Australia, until he got his CNC milling machine he had to cast all the brakes...there are all these cool looking moulds hanging on the wall in the shed :) Machined gear looks sooo trick, people just assume that a cast item is a factory piece but a machined job looks the goods.

Here are some other picks.

1. This is a alloy plenum I designed and helped make for a large capacity skyline (3Litre) this was the first one we did.
http://www.urban-adventure.net/images/plenumforrbtype1.jpg

2. The second one was going to be for my 2L skyline but I sold it to start another project.
http://www.urban-adventure.net/images/under%20side%20of%20rb%20plen.JPG

3. This is the intercooler I DESIGNED for a friends skyline powered Silvia that we spent 2 years building. I can't take credit for the awesome welds they were done by the cooler manufacture
http://www.urban-adventure.net/images/rb%20cooler%20awesome%20welds%201.JPG

4. This is the Silvia, started off with a 1.8L four cylinder and we were JUST going to replace a cracked piston....lol

Sure, what did you have in mind. I need pics or designs/drawings of some sort. These are some I made in the past....Matching shifter and E-brake handles.
