Yea man, wide angle is key, this maybe off the topic of onboard cams but usually I keep a wideangle or fisheye lens on my vid cam and wide angle on my 35mm cam

Yup they really do make a difference!
I got the 0.6x for my camcorder and I think Gamite got the 0.5!
It already makes a slight bubble effect too!
