Yeah, my dad bought it in '92. Its an M42 but somehow different from the others, I think its more or less the 1st 318 that came to Canada. Anyways, I am a BMP distributor now so I just got a crap load of BMP parts that I'm looking to install into the car. I previously had a Downing Atlanta Supercharger, it was pretty good, but I like all motor much better.

Oh yeah, and I'm not some spoiled kid with a BMW. I bought the car off my dad for $7K cdn, not its full value but that car had its share of problems.

in my 15" winter tires? hahaha, too bad I can't burn rubber it will mess up the treds. Nothing special if I can't demostrate the torque, I should have waited till after the event to change from my 17's to my 15's.

geez, everyone on this forum has E30's, I feel like an outkast!
ThE bRoWn GuY, I don't know how much parts are for the E30, but currently for the E36 my prices are only slightly discoutned. I just got my website started and my prices aren't quite the best yet, the more I sell the better my prices will be. Here is an example:
BMP's prices for E36 FPR : $410 Cdn + Shipping + customs + taxes
My price : $377 Cdn + Shipping (includes customs and taxes)

hmm actually now that I look at it, my prices are quite good. Well I'll find out the price for the FPR for the E30's and I'll get back to you.

ask away! Yeah I have all the parts numbers on my computer with the prices, I just don't know what the part numbers are referring to yet.
Anyways, just give me the part number and I'll quote you a price in Cdn dollars, thanx!

97136 evo 3 red silicone plug wires
BMP - $352Cdn
MTRD - $295Cdn
So far I only have this part number, I got the BMP retail price from their Cdn distributor.
I'll have to look up the other parts when I email my supplier.
I'll get back to you tomorrow.

Ji JJ.. sorry I sold my Supercharger almost a whole year ago. My mechanic sells some custom made ones for $2000 Cdn. There isn't any warranty so its up to you. Let me know..
Is that 2000$ CDN installed?
01-02-2002, 07:04 PM
He can build you one for $2000, the installation is extra. Expect anywhere from 3-5 hours of labour, quite costly.

whoa, please tell us more!
I'm very interested in the SC
and now that I know you'r a distributer for BMP, i'm interested to buy the parts i asked about in my PM. (depending on your personal opinion)
yeah why did you de-SC?
and how much was your complete install?
01-11-2002, 11:15 AM
I took out the S/C because my car was buring oil, loosing compression. This is not good for a boosted car so that is why I decided to sell it and repair my engine first, I had well over enough money to build a fast all motor car, so thats what I did! :)
The custom made S/C's are basically built from parts off of different cars. Then all the mounts are custom made to fit particular makes and models. I have no experience with this S/C at all. I used the Downing Atlanta Eaton blowers.

On the 318ti Mailing list there are at least 20 or so guys with Downing Atlanta blowers and I don't think any of time would take it off. :)
2000CND sounds very appealing, even without the installation. DASC goes for about 3400US and it's on my list for this year. Any idea what kind of blower your guy uses, also what does he do with the fuel system?
01-11-2002, 11:57 AM
^^^ any of THEM ^^^
01-11-2002, 12:47 PM
Since you need near perfect compression to run blower systems, I didn't because I would have more power from repairing my engine and going all motor with cams. I could use the money I got from selling the DASC towards my engine rebuild. But generally the DASC is very impressive, its as fast as a 328 and even faster off the line. 0-100 in 6.7-6.9 seconds.
I have no idea what my friend uses in the S/C systems. I'll go get more info and let you guys know.

yea mayn, please do tell us mroe,
I'm def interested in getting one of these SC for my 92 325i; but I'm afriad I'll end up with similar problems in the future since its relatively high mileage (167k).
Anything you could tell us would be great.
