I'm wondering if you guys can help me with this. I'm looking for general idea and approximation how much do you guys spend for your car in a month / year.

- insurance (car,age,primary driver ?)
- gas (how much do you travel)
- maintenance (details please)
- general services
- etc. (other inputs are welcome)

Thanks a lot.

k heres MY list!
- insurance = just under 4g's a year full coverage
- Gas = around $90 a WEEK ( i drive ALLLLLLL the time!)
- Maintenance = Not too much, other than your regular oil change, can't even really calculate it, i repair stuff that needs to be repaired and so far so good, had to replace my clutch, and other things, but i beat the hell outta my car and track it as much as i can so i'm sure this stuff would not be a big issue if i drove it normally!
- Other = Mods i spend a LOT on so far maybe 5-6 g's, but i don't mind, its all well worth it!

darn it's rusting out .... tell them everything is 110% inflation in canada ...

on 1 car is not too bad but on my 4 vehicles everything is too much .....

on bmw
well since i'm still doing mod on it ... it's running almost 1000 bucks a month.
the insurance 700 bucks for 6mths with 2mill liability and everything is fully covered, 100 bucks deductible.
gas is cheap since i rotate driving the truck and the bimmer in an average about 40 bucks a week .... travelling so much between winston churchill to mississauga bmw ...lol ..
oil change run syntetic mobil1 .... 47 bucks
maintenance do it my self on the bimmer what ever it needs when it breaks ....
well ... i guess i can't be much help to you ....
last year i had 95 maxima, 92 accord, 93 accord, 91 B2200, 94 ford F150 and i spent over 12000 bucks on repair alone ... so this year i revamp everything ... 2003 F150 is great truck no trouble, 2003 subaru outback sedan excellent in everyway, 93 accord very faithfull car 275000km no rust no trouble, and the bimmer is a toy ....

My last car was inexpensive.
~$100 a month insurance
~$200 a month on gas
~$100 every other month for new brake pads and oilchange
~$40 a month on general maint. like washing or detailing

My current car is costing me a lot more than I had planned to spend, but I feel safer knowing things are being done properly.
