WOW...I never new insurance is so GODDAMN much. I know some guy with a 1990 MAZDA 323 (crappy car) and he pays 4000 a year!!! HOW CAN THEY DO THAT TO A PERSON. Like I would be lucky enough to even buy a car for like 3 grand and then I still have to pay for the insurance!! That is such BULL SHIT. You guys have any TIPS or ideas on how to save money? What cars are good on insurance.. i would like to only pay like 3000 AT MOST a year... I NEED UR INPUT!!! thanks

not cool my friend
Its understandable why insurance is so much, I've seen so many accidents lately but it is still a pain cause that is basically stopping me from getting a car I want heh
And yea, not cool to drive without one, someone t-boned my sisters integra and he didn't have insurance, now he's got a $5000 ticket as SeRb said and he's getting sued by my insurance company

APP..WTF!?!? How is your insurance SO FREAKIN LOW!?!? Are you the primary driver!?! If you are, i dont get how some ppl, like you, pay so little and others, like my friend with a crappy old car(1990 mazda 323), pays a lot(4000/year). Can u share your secret on how u pay so little!!?? thanks man

the only reason my insurance is the lowest is because im on a corporate plan, it saves nearly half of what id regulary pay, before i paid just under $1740 (last year) and it went up to $2112
Tommy, yeah, primary driver and the car is in my name. Or so it says on the ownership :)
Only reason I can think it's so low, is cause mom/dad payed for my insurance on my first two cars while I paid for everything else. I owned a mazda 323 (4dr sedan) when I was 17, drove that for 3 yrs, then a nissan 240sx, and now the bimmer. So maybe it's just the 4 yrs of owning a car, and not looking like a high risk driver?
I have no clue how the insurance works. I'm through Security National, and I get no bs. Now, I dunno if it's cause of the good driving records my parents have, or what. But I've never paid 4k/yr, its always been less than $2500. On the nissan, it was 2k, cause it was burgandy (classified as red) and a sports car. The 4 dr bimmer may lower it too.
